Job Summary Treadwell Corporation, located in Thomaston CT, manufactures oxygen generators for the Navy. We are seeking an intuitive trouble shooter to join our Field Service team. When on-site you are representing the Company and will directly interface with the end user. Your professionalism will ensure our continued success with the Navy.

Requirements:

This position requires a Technical Associate degree or certificate with 3 to 5 years of proven experience in the troubleshooting, installation and repair of highly technical equipment or 4 years' experience with electrical/electronic equipment. Possess or able to acquire a contractor security clearance which includes a comprehensive background investigation and passing a physical that includes drug screening.

Duties:

Troubleshoot and repair electronic/electrical and mechanical equipment. Read, interpret, and use electrical schematics and drawings. Perform preventive maintenance functions as directed/necessary. Safely remove and install oxygen systems and component parts. Perform generator onsite testing. Assist engineering and production personnel as needed. Ability to write comprehensive technical reports and record data as necessary. Willing to travel 25-50%, some short notice travel. Willing to work 12-hour shifts when required, including night shift.
