HVAC Service ManagerAbout Us Perfect Timing Heating & Cooling is a locally owned and operated HVAC company serving Litchfield, New Haven, and Hartford Counties. Formerly Pelletier Heating & Air, we've built a strong reputation over 20+ years with 1,800+ five-star reviews and a team-first culture focused on doing the job right. We're growing, and we're looking for an experienced HVAC Service Manager who can lead our service team, support our technicians, and help us continue delivering the level of service our customers expect. Position Overview We're looking for a knowledgeable, organized, and motivated HVAC Service Manager to oversee the day-to-day performance of our residential service department. The right candidate will be a strong leader with hands-on HVAC experience who knows how to coach technicians, solve problems, maintain high standards, and keep a busy service department running effectively. This is a full-time leadership position with strong support and an opportunity to play an important role in the continued growth of Perfect Timing. What You'll Do Lead, coach, and support our team of residential HVAC service technicians Oversee day-to-day service department operations and technician performance Provide technical support and guidance on difficult diagnoses and service calls Train and develop technicians to improve technical skills, communication, and customer service Review technician performance, callbacks, job quality, and service department KPIs Help ensure jobs are completed efficiently, accurately, and to company standards Work closely with dispatch, customer service, sales, and company leadership Assist with customer concerns and help resolve escalated service issues Identify opportunities for additional technician training and development Ensure technicians properly document calls and job information in ServiceTitan Help maintain a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment Support the continued growth and improvement of the service department Requirements 5+ years of residential HVAC experience preferred Previous HVAC leadership, management, or supervisory experience preferred Strong knowledge of residential heating and cooling systems, including furnaces, boilers, central AC, heat pumps, and ductless systems Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting knowledge Ability to coach, train, and motivate technicians Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Professional communication and customer service skills Comfortable working with performance metrics and holding team members accountable Experience with ServiceTitan is a plus Clean driving record What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Performance incentives Company vehicle Health benefits Paid time off Ongoing training and professional development Strong administrative, dispatch, and leadership support A steady pipeline of work with no slow seasons Opportunity to grow with an established and expanding local company Why Join Perfect Timing?
