Following a major expansion, we are looking for a driven, detail-oriented Mold Remediation & Restoration Specialist to handle our surging residential and commercial project pipeline. This role assumed 20-30 hours of work coming through the business. However candidates who are able to self generate revenue opportunities on the remediation side will be significantly compensated based on job profitability. Investigate & Assess:
Conduct thorough property inspections using moisture meters and thermal imaging to map out water and mold damage. Remediate to
Standard:
Execute flawless mold containment, structural drying, and removal protocols adhering strictly to industry standards and safety regulations.
Build-Back & Carpentry:
Utilize your construction background to handle framing, trim, structural repairs, and seamless drywall finishes to restore properties to pristine condition.
Operate Advanced Gear:
Command industrial air scrubbers, dehumidifiers, and professional cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
Own Your Workspace:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
Deliver Elite Service:
Communicate clearly and empathetically with homeowners and property managers, walking them through the restoration process with professionalism. What You Bring to the Team (Requirements)
Industry Experience:
Proven experience in mold remediation, water damage mitigation, or structural restoration. IICRC certifications (WRT, AMRT) are a massive plus.
Strong Construction Background:
Serious carpentry and framing skills are essential for the rebuild phase.
Drywall Expertise:
Strong familiarity with hanging, taping, mudding, and matching textures for seamless drywall repairs is highly valued.
HVAC Familiarity:
A solid understanding of residential or commercial HVAC systems, ductwork, and how airflow impacts indoor air quality is a major plus.
The Right Tools:
Mastery of hand and power tools (having your own setup is a major advantage).
Physical Stamina:
Ability to lift heavy materials, handle demolition work, and navigate cramped spaces (like crawlspaces and attics) in the Florida heat.
Professionalism:
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Note for 1099
