Duties Respond promptly to emergency calls for water damage, flood, and fire restoration projects, providing immediate on-site assessment and action. Perform water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and mold remediation using specialized equipment such as moisture meters, air movers, and dehumidifiers. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and Xactimate software for accurate documentation and estimating of damages. Conduct cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning, debris removal, and surface sanitation following safety protocols. Operate company vehicles safely for on-call coverage and project transportation while adhering to all safety guidelines. Apply personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respiratory protection and respiratory masks during hazardous work to ensure safety compliance. Assist with asbestos abatement and mold remediation projects when required, following strict industry standards and safety procedures. Collaborate with clients to deliver exceptional customer service by explaining restoration processes clearly and maintaining professional communication throughout projects. Requirements Proven experience in restoration industry services including water damage restoration, flood recovery, fire restoration, or mold remediation. Knowledge of safety protocols including PPE use, respiratory protection, and proper handling of hazardous materials like asbestos. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, flood extraction equipment, and Xactimate estimating software effectively. Construction experience or familiarity with building materials enhances your ability to assess damages accurately. Strong emergency response readiness with the flexibility for on-call coverage during nights or weekends as needed. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude in high-pressure situations. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for operating company vehicles safely. Ability to follow detailed safety procedures while working with respiratory protection gear and other PPE items.
