Job Description
Job Overview:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Service Technician at TMI Compressed Air Systems, Inc. The Service Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of air compressors and related equipment. They will provide field service to clients, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution of issues. Additionally, the Service Technician will deliver excellent customer service and perform regular maintenance tasks.Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair various types of equipment and machinery
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate recommendations
- Keep accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities
- Provide training and guidance to customers on the proper use and maintenance of equipment
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role
- Strong technical skills with the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in relevant technical field
- Strong electrical troubleshooting
- Experience working with air compressors
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
