About the Role As a Furniture Restoration Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive high-quality, pristine products by performing expert on-site repairs and refinishing. You will utilize your technical skills in wood repair, upholstery, and color matching to restore furniture to its original beauty, directly impacting customer satisfaction and home aesthetics. Responsibilities Execute high-quality repairs on wood, upholstery, and leather furniture, including surface refinishing and structural rebuilding. Operate power tools such as drills, impact drivers, and multi-tools safely to complete complex furniture assemblies and repairs. Assess damaged items to determine the most efficient restoration methods and communicate repair feasibility to stakeholders. Maintain an organized service vehicle and ensure all necessary repair materials, hardware, and supplies are fully stocked. Collaborate with warehouse teams to provide guidance on minor touch-up techniques and identify recurring product quality issues. Follow established routes to ensure timely arrival at customer locations for professional service visits. Document all service activities and report instances where repairs cannot be completed to standard. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, orderly workspace in both residential and warehouse environments. Qualifications Required Skills High School Diploma or equivalent. 1+ year of professional experience in furniture repair, including wood refinishing, leather care, or upholstery. Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record. Proficiency in color matching and advanced material repair techniques. Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently in a field-based role. Preferred Skills Prior experience with spray booth operations and equipment maintenance. Familiarity with inventory management or warehouse logistics software. Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages. Demonstrated experience in bench testing and quality assurance procedures.
