Job Description
Responsibilities include:
Install residential and commercial standby generators and related equipment. Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain generator systems, engines, and electrical components. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, service manuals, and installation drawings. Perform preventative maintenance and inspections. Clearly explain repairs and recommendations to customers in a professional manner. Complete accurate service reports and documentation. Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards. Represent RC WATT with professionalism and pride at every customer location. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting skills. Detail-oriented and committed to quality workmanship. Honest, dependable, and self-motivated. Comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Professional when interacting with customers. Willing to continue learning and expanding their technical knowledge. Qualifications At least 21 years old. Two or more years of experience in generators, small engines, automotive, heavy equipment, electrical, HVAC, or a related mechanical field preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (minimum five years driving experience). Ability to back a trailer. Live within approximately 30 minutes of our Irwin, PA office. Ability to pass a DOT physical (two-year certification preferred). Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle record review. Ability to regularly lift up to 80 pounds, kneel, bend, climb, and work outdoors in all weather conditions. $25-$32 per hour to start , depending on experience.Entry-Level Technicians:
