Manufacturing Summary Technical field role supporting installations, service, troubleshooting and training throughout North America. When not traveling, the position supports Charleston production, assembly, quality, installer training and process improvement. Responsibilities Travel throughout North America to support customer/dealer installations, field troubleshooting, punch/service issues and installation quality. Provide hands-on technical support for demountable wall systems, glazing, doors, hardware and related architectural products. Train dealers, installers, customers and internal personnel on correct installation, adjustment, service and product handling. Document field issues, root causes, corrective actions and lessons learned; feed findings back into engineering and production. Support product demonstrations, mockups, installer readiness and project-specific technical requirements. When not traveling, support CHS production, assembly, quality checks, training, work instructions and continuous improvement. Coordinate professionally with dealers, contractors, project teams and internal stakeholders while representing company in the field. Required Qualifications Hands-on field service, installation, construction, mechanical or technical-service background. Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand/power tools, measurement and drawings. Ability and willingness to travel frequently throughout North America as project requirements dictate. Strong customer-facing communication, troubleshooting and training capability. Valid driver's license and ability to work safely in active commercial construction and manufacturing environments. Preferred Background Architectural interiors, demountable walls, glazing, doors/hardware, millwork, commercial construction, installation supervision or technical field service. Experience training installers or customers and resolving field-quality or service issues. Ability to contribute productively in a manufacturing environment between field assignments.
