Job Description Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage / Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and service complex equipment at customer sites across the United States. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low-voltage systems, equipment installation, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, electronics, and PLCs . Experience working with medical or hospital equipment is a plus but not required. This role requires extensive domestic travel with occasional international travel. Key Responsibilities Install, commission, and service low-voltage equipment and systems at customer locations. Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment. Install, relocate, and remove equipment while ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and safety standards. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, PLC, and electronic control system issues. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, technical manuals, and engineering drawings. Perform system testing, calibration, and functional verification after installation or repair. Coordinate with customers, project managers, and technical teams to ensure successful project completion. Maintain accurate service reports, installation documentation, and maintenance records. Ensure all work complies with company policies and applicable safety regulations. Provide professional customer support and technical assistance in the field. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (Technical degree or vocational training preferred). Proven experience as a Field Service Technician, Low Voltage Technician, or Equipment Installation Technician .

Strong experience with:

Low-voltage systems Equipment installation and commissioning Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting PLCs and electronic control systems Ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical equipment. Experience reading electrical schematics and technical documentation. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively. Preferred Qualifications Experience installing and servicing medical, imaging, laboratory, industrial, or other complex electronic equipment. Previous experience working in hospitals or healthcare facilities is beneficial but not required. Experience with field service operations involving customer-facing technical support. Experience training or mentoring junior technicians is a plus. Travel Requirements Extensive travel throughout the assigned territory, including domestic and international travel .
