Job Description

Service Technician Summary Serves customers in the field and in-house by installing and servicing systems and products. Responsibilities Serves existing accounts by analyzing work orders, investigating complaints, conducting tests, resolving problems, and, if necessary, planning daily travel schedules; Establishes service by studying system requirements, gathering components and parts, completing repairs, completing installations, and performing acceptance tests. Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints and identifying solutions. Suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements to management. Keeps personal equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs. Documents service actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records. Maintains customer confidence by keeping service information confidential and following HIPAA requirements. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Essential Education/Experience/Skills High School Diploma or GED No previous experience is required
