Castro Brothers Solutions runs commercial facility maintenance and remodeling across El Paso, Horizon City, and southern New Mexico. We're looking for one strong field technician — a true maestro generalist — who can take a work order, show up, figure out the problem, fix it, and document it without anyone standing over him. This is not a helper position. You will run calls alone.

WHAT THE WORK ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE A

typical week on this job:

• Replace lighting ballasts and diagnose why a fixture won't shut off
• Swap breakers, replace switches, add outlets, install GFCIs
• Change a shut-off valve, reset a toilet, fix a leaking supply line
• Patch drywall, match texture, touch up paint
• Repair ceiling tile and grid, adjust commercial door closers, re-anchor fixtures
• Install keypads, door hardware, grab bars, wall mounts
• Troubleshoot what the store manager says "just stopped working" You'll work national-account retail and commercial sites, plus residential remodel jobs alongside our crew when the schedule calls for it.

HOW WE RUN IT

• You call in when you arrive on site and call out when you finish — every time
• Before, during, and after photos on every job, from your phone
• Store manager sign-off before you leave
• We do not subcontract our work orders.

You perform them.

WHAT YOU NEED

• 2+ years hands-on in electrical, maintenance, handyman, or multi-trade work
• Real electrical competence — ballasts, breakers, switches, outlets. This is the core of the job.
• Basic plumbing: shut-off valves, supply lines, fixture work
• Drywall repair and texture matching
• Your own reliable truck or van
• Your own hand tools
• Valid driver's license and clean enough record to drive to job sites
• A smartphone, and the willingness to actually use it for photos and job updates

WHAT HELPS

• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Prior experience on dispatched work orders or facility maintenance contracts
• Comfort walking into a commercial building and talking to a store manager like a professional

Pay:

$160

• 200/day depending on experience and trade depth.
