As our Rehab Repair Technician, you'll build, fit, and repair power wheelchairs, scooters, and custom mobility equipment that gives people with disabilities their independence back. You'll work alongside our clinical team, seeing firsthand how the equipment you assemble changes someone's day-to-day life. No wheelchair experience? No problem. We're looking for someone mechanically inclined someone who is a fast learner — we'll train you on the specifics. Experience with wheelchairs, scooters, or power mobility equipment is a plus, but not required. We are looking to hire and add to our Rehab Division! Our Repair Technician/ Mechanic will work closely with our ATP's and our Rehab Warehouse Manager and Coordinators to ensure the timely processing of patient orders for mobility devices such as power wheelchairs and scooters. We will work together as a team to facilitate complex systems that are ultimately going to change the lives of our customers. Adding the ideal Rehab Technician to our team is our goal. CHME is willing to train for this position. We are looking for someone who is a quick learner and can retain knowledge and training. Our ideal candidate should be initiative and have both technical and mechanical skills. You must be able to balance compassion and kindness with purpose and professionalism. Essential Functions:

Assemble and adjust seating and mobility equipment (wheelchairs, scooters) for delivery Make repairs and modifications in the shop and out in the field on service calls Deliver equipment to patients as scheduled Handle incoming shipments, track orders, and coordinate with vendors on damaged or missing parts Keep the shop organized and equipment well cared for Occasionally join our clinical team at patient fittings to help with adjustments Maintain the company vehicle log and flag any needed repairs Must maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Required Education, Experience & Competencies:

High School Diploma or equivalency certificate. Knowledge of hand tools. Knowledge of power circuits. Valid "clean" driver's license
