Job Overview We are a growing heavy-duty truck and trailer repair shop looking for an experienced Mobile Diesel Technician/ Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working on semi-trucks, trailers, diesel engines, and commercial vehicle tires. Position will require semi-truck and trailer repair including, but not limited to brakes, bushings, light replacement/repair, wheel seals, tires, semi/diesel oil changes, maintenance tracking and minor diesel mechanical repairs, also tire repair and maintenance. Applicants must be self-motivator, be able to work independently, have good communication skills, be able to learn software and complete service orders in a timely manner. Class A CDL would be a plus but not required. Drug Screening required at time of hire, and subject to random screenings. Paid vacation time after 180 days, Health/Vision/Dental Insurance after 60 days, IRA with match after 1 year. Responsibilities Applicants must be willing to be on call, you will be doing majority of your work road Side and out of the service truck. Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, suspension adjustments, and hydraulic system servicing. Troubleshoot complex mechanical systems including transmissions, air brakes, HVAC systems, and diesel engines to identify root causes of malfunctions. Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and document repairs accurately for accountability and future reference. Ensure safety standards are upheld during all repair activities by following proper procedures for heavy lifting and equipment handling. Assist with assembly and disassembly of machinery components during repairs or upgrades as needed. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge including diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, transmissions, suspension systems, hydraulics, and electrical systems repair. Familiarity with repair shop procedures and schematics for troubleshooting complex machinery issues. Knowledge of diesel mechanics, heavy truck repair, HVAC systems related to industrial equipment, and tire service procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during repairs or inspections. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients on-site regarding repairs or maintenance needs. We are currently located in the heart of Fruitland, ID. although we are building our new shop at exit 17 ( Sand hollow) which is 19 miles from our current location and will be operating out of the new location in the early months of 2027.

Pay:

From $29.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
