Job Description

Berkel is currently seeking a full-time shop Equipment Mechanic. This position will perform maintenance and repairs on cranes, forklifts, and other various construction equipment. Mechanical ability and some experience required, however, Berkel is willing to provide further training for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled maintenance on cranes, forklifts, and other construction equipment Properly complete Service Forms and document all maintenance and repairs performed on the equipment Repair and replace damaged or worn parts on equipment Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment Basic Diesel, Hydraulic, and Wiring Some traveling may be required EOE/Minorities/Females/Veterans/Disability (Compliant with the new VEVRAA and Section 503 rules)
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Ability to safely lift over 40 lbs. Passing drug screen and background check Must have a current Driver's License Good mechanical aptitude Welding experience a plus XJ6
