Part Time Mechanic
Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Part Time Mechanic and become a vital contributor to our maintenance and repair operations! In this energetic role, you will perform hands-on diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on a wide range of vehicles. Your mechanical expertise will keep our operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections to identify mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools Troubleshoot and repair automotive electrical systems, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension, brakes, shocks & struts. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques to complete repairs efficiently Maintain detailed service records, repair logs, and maintenance schedules for all equipment serviced Assist with fabrication tasks as needed for custom repairs or modifications Support equipment assembly, installation, and routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance Requirements Proven experience as a mechanic Strong knowledge of mechanical systems repair including, HVAC systems, vehicle electrical systems, and powertrain components Familiarity with schematics and technical manuals for diagnostics and repairs Ability to lift heavy components safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about repairs and maintenance needs Valid mechanic certification or relevant technical training in automotive or heavy equipment repair is highly desirable Join us in delivering exceptional service through expert mechanical work!
