This position requires independent field work, travel to customer locations, and occasional overnight and out-of-state travel for projects. Responsibilities Install, service, troubleshoot, and maintain surveillance systems. Work with DVRs, NVRs, analog cameras, IP cameras, HD cameras, PTZ cameras, switches, routers, gateways, and wireless bridges. Install and terminate low-voltage cabling. Perform system testing, diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance. Accurately measure, estimate, and document project requirements. Manage inventory, equipment, and company-issued tools. Operate company vehicles safely and professionally. Utilize company smartphones, software applications, and other technology to complete assigned tasks. Maintain clear communication with customers, coworkers, and management. Identify opportunities to recommend additional products and services when appropriate. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Wear the company-issued uniform while on duty. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of field experience installing, servicing, and troubleshooting surveillance systems. High School Diploma or GED required. Must successfully pass a background check, including review of violent and theft-related criminal history. Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening. Must successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check with no recent major violations and no significant traffic citation history within the past six years. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Experience with DVRs, NVRs, analog cameras, IP cameras, HD cameras, PTZ cameras, switches, routers, gateways, and wireless bridges. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, organizational, and customer service skills. Ability to safely use ladders, drills, camera testers, hand tools, power tools, and scissor lifts. Ability to lift and carry equipment as required. Willingness and ability to travel 100+ miles to client locations using a company vehicle. Willingness to stay overnight and travel out of state for projects (travel and lodging paid by the company). Proficiency with smartphones, mobile applications, and other technology used in daily operations. Ability to manage inventory, maintain equipment, and complete required documentation accurately. Experience with access control systems, structured cabling, and surveillance systems. Experience working in commercial environments. Familiarity with networking concepts and IP-based surveillance systems.
Pay:
