Job Description
Delaware Valley Container & Equipment is looking for a qualified compactor service technician to help our service division grow. We are a full-service container shop maintenance company. The Compactor technician/ Welder will assist in maintaining compactors, roll-off containers & trash trucks. This position will have to troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems. Technician must have strong knowledge of welding/fabrication. Upon completion of training program, the technician will be provided with a company service truck to take home.
Job requirements and responsibilities:
- Traveling to various sites for service
- Generating daily reports for each service performed Basic Knowledge in:
- operation of forklifts
- electrical troubleshooting and repair
- hydraulic troubleshooting and repair
- welding and fabrication
- Capable of passing a DOT physical
- Valid driver's license with a clean record
- CDL License is a plus
- Must be capable of working in a group setting as well as independently
