Position Summary Therapeutic Technologies is seeking an experienced mechanical technician to join our surgical equipment refurbishment team. This is not a traditional Biomedical Technician position. We are looking for someone with hands-on experience rebuilding, repairing, and restoring surgical operating room tables. The ideal candidate understands how these systems function mechanically and is comfortable completely disassembling equipment, diagnosing failures, replacing components, rebuilding assemblies, and returning equipment to factory-level performance. Responsibilities Completely disassemble and rebuild surgical operating room tables. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical failures. Replace worn components including bearings, bushings, gears, cylinders, motors, actuators, switches, and wiring. Perform adjustments, alignments, lubrication, and calibration. Read service manuals and parts diagrams. Test and troubleshoot equipment after assembly. Maintain organized work areas and documentation. Work closely with Operations and Quality Control to meet production schedules. Preferred Equipment Experience Skytron surgical tables Steris surgical tables Jackson surgical tables Hana fracture tables Other operating room positioning equipment Required Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on mechanical repair experience. Experience rebuilding surgical tables strongly preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude. Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, measuring tools, and shop equipment. Ability to interpret technical manuals and exploded-view diagrams. Experience troubleshooting hydraulic and electromechanical systems. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Forklift experience is a plus. Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English. Must be able to communicate effectively with team members and management.
