Job Description
Overview Mining Equipment is a global company that supplies underground equipment for tunnel projects and mining projects. We are looking for a motivated and dependable heavy-equipment mechanic, field service technician to join our team full-time. This position involves repairing, rebuilding and maintaining heavy mining equipment both in the shop and in the field. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and rebuild mining and heavy equipment Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues Perform maintenance and repairs safely and efficiently Lead and manage crews on job sites Keep projects on schedule and maintain quality workmanship Follow all jobsite safety procedures and company policies Maintain responsiblity of tools, equipment, and cmpany property Travl to various job locations for 1-2 weeks at a time as needed Requirements Strong mechanical skills and heavy equipment experience Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and problems in the field Self-motivated with strong work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment Valid driver's license required Must be able to travel and fly to job locations when needed Leadership skills and ability to manage crews preferred Position Details Full-time position Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity for travel and varied work environments Hands-on work with mining, heavy-civil and heavy equipment
