Position Summary The Rental Equipment Service Technician inspects, maintains, diagnoses, services, and repairs a diverse rental fleet. Equipment includes boom lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts, and other earthmoving and material-handling machines powered by diesel or gasoline engines. The technician helps ensure equipment is safe, reliable, properly documented, and ready for customer use. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Inspect rental equipment and identify mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and operational issues. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, routine service, and required repairs on aerial work platforms, forklifts, earthmoving equipment, and related machinery. Diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline engines using appropriate mechanical and computer-based diagnostic tools. Troubleshoot electronic controls, wiring, sensors, and hydraulic systems. Service and repair aerial work platforms, including JLG and Genie equipment. Complete equipment check-in and check-out inspections and support fleet dispatch readiness. Document inspections, maintenance, repairs, parts used, and equipment condition accurately and promptly. Communicate clearly with team members regarding equipment status, repair needs, and return-to-service timelines. Follow established safety procedures, operating practices, and technician competency standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least one year of hands-on mechanical service and repair experience with aerial work platforms, material-handling equipment, or earthmoving equipment. Experience maintaining and repairing aerial work platforms, preferably JLG and Genie equipment. Experience servicing and preparing a fleet of boom lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts, and other earthmoving and material-handling equipment for dispatch. Working knowledge of both diesel and gasoline engine systems. Experience diagnosing and repairing electronic and hydraulic systems. Strong mechanical aptitude and computer diagnostic skills. Pay:

$34.50 - $37.25 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
