Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Generator Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of power generation equipment. Your expertise will ensure our clients' generators operate at peak performance, supporting critical operations and infrastructure. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced electrical and mechanical systems in a fast-paced environment. Duties Diagnose and troubleshoot generator issues using schematics, electrical diagnostics, and equipment troubleshooting techniques Perform repairs on diesel engines, mechanical systems, and electrical components of power generation systems Conduct routine maintenance on generators and related equipment to ensure optimal operation Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and other manual handling tools to complete repairs Interpret technical schematics and mechanical diagrams to accurately identify problems and implement solutions Test electrical circuits and systems to verify repairs and ensure safety standards are met Assist with small engine maintenance and perform heavy lifting as needed during equipment repairs Skills Proven dealership experience or service technician background in generator or heavy equipment repair Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical systems repair Familiarity with schematics, power generation systems, and electrical work practices Experience with welding, soldering, and the use of hand tools and power tools Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues using diagnostic equipment Mechanical knowledge of automotive repair principles applied to generator systems Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving Physical ability for heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and working in various environmental conditions Join us to be part of a forward-thinking company committed to powering a smarter world!
