Job Description
Job SummaryPinnergy is a diversified energy services company with a broad and comprehensive service offering to customers throughout Texas and Louisiana and is one of the largest independent oilfield service companies in its industry. Pinnergy has an immediate opening for a Diesel Mechanic in its Godley, TX, location.
This position will be responsible for servicing and repairing various oilfield company equipment. Will perform scheduled preventative maintenance, as well as non-scheduled maintenance repairs.
Job duties and responsibilities:
Adept at troubleshooting and diagnosing problems with mechanical equipment and possess the ability to apply a resolution in a timely manner. Proficient at repairing, replacing, dismantling, and inspecting defective equipment such as pumps, valves, hydraulic systems, diesel engines, transmissions, generators, general work-over and drilling auxiliary equipment. Coordinates purchasing with appropriate personnel and vendors to help achieve timely repair of equipment. Assists operations as needed. Competently operates and maintains facility equipment with minimal guidance or assistance as directed by and in coordination with the Field and Production Manager. Proficiently performs duties of a Mechanical Technician in the operation of the combined equipment Maintains equipment by tightening fittings, replacing valve packing, gaskets, valves, and gauges. Cleaning, replacing, oiling, and lubricating other component parts and equipment as required. As required, proficiency in completely overhauling valves, pumps, compressors, and other common equipment is essential.
Preforms additional duties as assigned.
ASE certified a plus. Welding experience a plusMinimum of 2 plus years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic. Working with Cat motors a plus. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Requirements Must always work in a safe and efficient manner.
Must have valid Drivers License, CDL is not required but a plus.
Must have own tools and toolbox.
Must be willing to work required 12-hour shifts
