Heavy Equipment Mechanic Good physical strength and stamina to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on diesel heavy equipment, using computerized diagnostic software, hand tools, and precision measurement tools. Perform regular preventive maintenance according to each unit's schedule. Complete detailed service reports for each job using computerized software provided by the company.

Excellent communication skills:

Must be able to explain equipment problems and repairs to customers and discuss concerns and future preventative measures in a professional and courteous manner. Must attend mandatory training classes as needed (online or offsite) Must be able and willing to follow established procedures and practices of the company. Ability to Weld/Fabricate parts a plus. High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Diesel Trade School or equivalent experience a plus. Must have own tools
