Aerial Lift Mechanic MBA Equipment Rental LLC Pharr, TX Job Details Full-time $15 - $20 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Bilingual Electrical work Driver's License Attention to detail Power tools Hand tools Sensors Full Job Description Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and dependable Equipment Mechanic to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Genie scissor lifts, boom lifts, telehandlers, and other aerial equipment . The mechanic will be responsible for keeping our equipment safe, reliable, and ready for operation through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair Genie scissor lifts and boom lifts Diagnose and repair telehandlers and other material-handling equipment Perform preventative maintenance and routine service Troubleshoot diesel and gasoline engines Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical components Inspect equipment for safety, performance, and proper operation Perform repairs both in the shop and, when necessary, in the field Read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics Replace and repair hoses, cylinders, pumps, valves, wiring, batteries, sensors, and other components Perform equipment inspections and document completed repairs and maintenance Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime Qualifications Previous experience repairing aerial lifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, telehandlers, or heavy equipment Must be bilingual Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems Ability to diagnose problems accurately and complete repairs efficiently Ability to use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and testing equipment Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Preferred Qualifications Experience working specifically with Genie equipment Schedule Full-Time | Monday-Friday Some overtime or field service work may be required depending on equipment needs.
