Job Description
McCoy Construction & Forestry, a John Deere dealership group with 25 locations across the Midwest and East South-Central Regions, has an opening for a Shop Service Technician in our Merrill, WI dealership. The Shop Service Technician position is responsible for repairing and maintaining electric, diesel and gasoline industrial, construction and forestry equipment.

a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Paid Time Off-80 Hours in the first year! Career Development Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must have heavy equipment and construction equipment experience.
- Ability to make major and minor repairs on construction and forestry equipment, including but not limited to, diesel engines, fuel systems, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, transmission & axles, cooling systems, chassis repairs, and some welding.
- Perform regular and preventative maintenance including inspections, oil changes, attachment installation, etc.
- Utilize a computer or mobile device to perform diagnostic tests and maintain accurate records of repairs.
- Maintain cleanliness in the shop.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- You must possess a valid driver's license.
Education, Skills & Knowledge Preferred:
- Associate degree or Certificate from a technical school
- Heavy Equipment diesel Technician experience
