This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and taking ownership of their work. Every day brings new challenges, equipment issues, and customer needs. Successful technicians are analytical enough to diagnose problems accurately while remaining adaptable in a fast-paced field environment. What You'll Do Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial foodservice equipment Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections Read wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical documentation Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective repairs Communicate repair recommendations clearly to customers Complete accurate service reports and documentation Maintain inventory levels in assigned service vehicle Properly care for company vehicle, tools, and company-issued equipment Work safely and professionally at customer locations Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call rotations as needed Ideal Candidate Profile This position requires a self-motivated individual who enjoys troubleshooting equipment and solving technical problems in the field. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. They take pride in performing quality work, completing repairs correctly the first time, and maintaining accurate documentation. Successful technicians remain calm under pressure, adapt to changing schedules, and make sound decisions in the field. They are comfortable interacting with customers, explaining repairs, and representing the company professionally. Because technicians work from a company vehicle and travel directly to customer locations, reliability, accountability, and time management are critical to success.
