We are an established appliance repair company based in Ridgefield, Washington, serving customers throughout Oregon. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity available full-time or part-time. Earnings depend on completed jobs, experience, performance, customer demand, and availability; a specific number of service calls is not guaranteed.

SERVICE AREA

The technician should be able to regularly cover Albany, Corvallis, Lebanon, Sweet Home, and nearby communities. This position does not require regular coverage of Eugene or Salem.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Independently diagnose and repair residential refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, ranges, microwaves, and other major household appliances
• Communicate professionally with customers before and during appointments
• Document diagnoses and completed work accurately
• Coordinate with AMS dispatch and office staff through messages
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years of verifiable hands-on residential appliance repair experience
• Ability to diagnose and complete repairs independently across all major appliance categories
• Own reliable vehicle; a regular passenger car is acceptable—a truck or van is not required
• Own professional appliance repair tools
• Valid driver's license
• Willing to work as a 1099 independent contractor
• Own LLC and General Liability Insurance required before beginning work
• Reliable communication and professional customer service EPA 608 certification and sealed-system refrigeration experience are a plus, but sealed-system work is not required.

AMS provides dispatch and office support, assistance with parts ordering, and customer appointments based on demand and availability. Initial hiring communication is handled through Indeed messages.
