As our Residential Climate Control Service Specialist, you'll spend your days diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems—primarily in homes, with occasional light commercial work. You'll explain findings to customers in plain language, follow strict safety practices, keep meticulous service records, and leave every workspace cleaner than you found it. Inspections, adjustments, and system upgrades are part of the rhythm of your week. What you'll do Clean, calibrate, and repair HVAC components—air handlers, ductwork, vents, and condensate drains—to ensure efficient, safe operation. Diagnose issues and perform service on residential HVAC systems to restore peak performance. Consult with customers, present options, and deliver expert recommendations that solve the problem and build trust. Complete detailed documentation of work performed and support inspections, adjustments, and upgrades as needed. Additional duties as assigned. What you bring 2-5+ years of residential HVAC service experience. EPA Certification is required. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Proven troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills for complex HVAC challenges. A positive attitude and dedication to high-quality workmanship. Customer-first approach and the ability to address a wide range of client needs. Professional communication skills with individuals at all organizational levels. Adaptable, innovative team player who thrives in changing environments. Physical demands and work environment Lift 50 pounds routinely and up to 100 pounds on occasion. Climb ladders; access attics; work in tight spaces and crawlspaces; drive; push, carry, and pull; use hand tools; and perform fine, detailed work. Ability to drive. Work indoors and outdoors, including attics and crawlspaces. Stand, walk, and sit; talk and hear in person and by phone. Use hands to handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch. Regular exposure to extreme heat or cold and adverse weather such as wind, rain, ice, or snow.
