This contract opportunity requires proficiency with imaging procedures, particularly CT scans, and a patient-centered approach to care. You will contribute to a collaborative imaging team, working with state-of-the-art equipment to deliver vital diagnostic images.
Key Qualifications:
Valid ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology; CT credential required Minimum of one year experience performing CT scans in a clinical setting Thorough understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care Strong attention to detail and commitment to image quality and patient safety Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced department
Responsibilities:
Prepare and position patients for CT procedures according to physician orders Perform high-quality CT scans using appropriate imaging protocols Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring proper function and cleanliness Verify patient identification and obtain accurate medical histories Monitor patients during procedures and ensure radiation safety standards are met Review and transmit images to radiologists for interpretation Document procedures and maintain records in compliance with facility policies Collaborate with radiology staff, physicians, and nurses to ensure excellent patient care Working in this role, you will have the opportunity to make a difference for patients needing critical diagnostic information.
