HVAC Technician Requirements Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record Clean background check EPA Certification (Required) Minimum of 3 years of residential HVAC service experience Ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential heating and air conditioning systems Experience servicing furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, package units, and mini-split systems Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills Perform preventative maintenance and seasonal system tune-ups Communicate repair recommendations clearly and professionally with homeowners Deliver exceptional customer service on every call Comfortable using tablets and mobile technology for job documentation Own a complete set of hand tools required for the position Reliable, punctual, and dependable Strong work ethic with a positive attitude Professional appearance and excellent communication skills Team-oriented with a willingness to support fellow technicians Committed to ongoing technical and customer service training Why Join Guardian?
