Job Description

commercial hvac/r service technician.rancho cordova, californiaposted july 21, 2026 job detailssummary$65,000 - $100,000 per yearpermanenthigh schoolcategoryinstallation, maintenance, and repair occupations reference AB_4984146 job details Who We Are a high-growth commercial HVAC company on a mission to scale to $100M—and we're looking for sharp technicians who want to grow with us. We're family owned and operated. Not private equity backed. Not run by suits in a boardroom somewhere. We're built by tradespeople, led by tradespeople, and we've kept that family culture as we've grown. When you join Evolution, you're not just filling a seat—you're becoming part of something we're building together. Our founder started turning wrenches in 1997. He knows what it takes to do this work, and he knows how technicians deserve to be treated. That perspective shapes everything we do. Why Techs Choose Evolution Get Paid What You're Worth Top techs deserve top pay. We pay $30-$50/hour based on experience, with weekly paychecks, full benefits, and a take-home company truck. No games. No "we'll get to it next quarter." If you produce, you get rewarded. Family-Owned Means Family Values No corporate politics. No revolving door of private equity managers who don't know a compressor from a condenser. We make decisions based on what's right for our people and our clients—not what looks good on a quarterly report. A Real Career Path, Not a Dead End We're scaling aggressively, and we build our future leaders from inside. Technician → Lead Tech → Field Supervisor → Service Manager. The path is real, and the openings are coming fast. If you want to grow, we'll grow with you. Training That Actually Matters We invest heavily in our people. We run development programs for both technicians and future leaders—real curriculum, real progression, not "shadow the guy next to you and figure it out." You came here to get better at your craft. We make sure that happens. The Role We're looking for a Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician who takes pride in their craft and wants to work on a team that respects it. You'll service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems for clients—many of whom have trusted us for 20+ years. This role has a clear path to Lead Tech and Field Supervisor for the right person.
