contractor specializing in HVAC service, preventative maintenance, indoor air quality, air duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, filtration upgrades, and HVAC system replacements. We're looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician who wants more than just another job. We want someone who enjoys helping customers, takes pride in quality workmanship, continues learning, and wants opportunities to earn additional income through performance and commissions. This is a long-term career opportunity with room for advancement into senior technician, field leadership, training, sales, and management positions. Important This position includes a combination of: HVAC Service HVAC Maintenance HVAC Diagnostics Indoor Air Quality Services Air Duct Cleaning Dryer Vent Cleaning Customer System Inspections Air Filtration & IAQ Recommendations Commercial and Residential Services Our technicians perform all services based on the daily schedule. If you are only interested in performing installations or only running HVAC service calls, this position will likely not be a good fit. Responsibilities Create an exceptional customer experience by completing work correctly the first time with quality, professionalism, and care. Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems. Perform thorough HVAC inspections, including health and safety inspections. Clearly communicate findings and recommendations to customers using written repair and option sheets. Present repair and replacement options professionally and honestly. Perform preventative maintenance services. Perform air duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, and other Indoor Air Quality services as scheduled. Understand Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and follow all company safety requirements. Complete all required digital documentation, checklists, photographs, invoices, and job notes. Order and document required parts. Process warranty documentation when applicable. Record all materials used for accurate job costing. Coordinate follow-up appointments with dispatch when necessary. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service vehicle. Properly maintain and account for company tools and equipment. Protect customer homes by using floor protection and maintaining a clean work area. Leave every customer's home cleaner than you found it. Communicate effectively with dispatch, office staff, supervisors, and teammates. Promote maintenance memberships when appropriate. Mentor apprentices and newer technicians when assigned. Meet company performance metrics while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction. Follow all company safety policies and immediately report safety concerns. Perform other duties as assigned.
