Responsibilities Diagnose, service and repair residential and light commercial HVAC equipment Perform service calls and preventative maintenance on furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-split systems, packaged rooftop units, boilers and water heaters Troubleshoot equipment and provide customers with clear, honest recommendations Communicate professionally and build positive relationships with MGI customers Read blueprints, equipment specifications and technical documentation Complete service documentation accurately and in a timely manner Safely operate and maintain a company vehicle Follow company procedures and applicable safety standards Qualifications Previous HVAC service experience Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Working knowledge of residential and light commercial HVAC systems Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage service calls effectively Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record EPA certification preferred Boiler and water-heater experience is a plus Benefits Company vehicle for qualified technicians Paid holidays Paid vacation Health and dental insurance options Opportunities for professional development and career growth Supportive, relationship-focused company culture Full-time, year-round work At MGI Mechanical Services, we are not just repairing and maintaining equipment—we are building lasting relationships with our customers and our team.
