HVAC/Refrigeration Technician Requirements:

3+ years of Commercial HVAC, Chiller and/or Commercial Refrigeration Experience required Complete knowledge and understanding of Refrigeration (NH3) ammonia system operations and controls required Must be part of the union or willing to join required

HVAC/Refrigeration Technician Responsibilities:

Performing certain freezer repairs to include but not limited to replacing/repairing ammonia pumps, compressors, boilers, and control valves Check layout of existing refrigeration devices and air conditioning units to plan work procedures. Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues, performing preventative maintenance, and replacing faulty equipment and parts Obtain materials and supplies according to establish policies and procedures.
