Experienced Test & Balance (TAB) Technician K&P Mechanical Solutions is seeking an experienced Test & Balance (TAB) Technician to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, motivated individual with at least 1 year of hands-on TAB experience in commercial HVAC systems. Responsibilities Perform testing, adjusting, and balancing of commercial HVAC air systems Measure and document airflow, pressure, temperature, and other system performance data Balance supply, return, and exhaust air systems to design requirements Read and understand mechanical drawings, plans, and specifications Perform traverse readings and equipment testing Identify airflow and system performance issues and communicate findings Complete accurate field reports and testing documentation Coordinate professionally with project managers, contractors, and other trades Maintain and properly use TAB instruments and equipment Follow company and jobsite safety requirements Qualifications Minimum 1 year of Test & Balance experience required Ability to read mechanical plans and specifications Knowledge of HVAC systems and airflow measurement Experience using TAB instruments such as manometers, flow hoods, anemometers, and tachometers Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional and dependable Valid driver's license and reasonably clean driving record Ability to work on ladders and in mechanical rooms, rooftops, and active construction environments What We Offer Competitive pay based on TAB experience Full-time employment Company Vehicle to drive to and from jobs Opportunities for advancement Professional work environment Opportunity to expand your knowledge and experience in the Test & Balance industry
