Job Description

A skilled professional responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing climate control systems in residential and commercial environments. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, mechanical aptitude, and strong diagnostic skills to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently. ​ Key Responsibilities ​
Installation:
Install new HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork, ensuring compliance with local codes and manufacturer specifications. ​
System Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, replacing filters, and inspecting electrical connections to prevent future failures. ​
Diagnostics & Troubleshooting:
Identify malfunctions in heating and cooling units using specialized diagnostic tools, testing instruments (like multimeters and gauges), and technical documentation. ​
Repairs:
Replace or repair worn or defective components, including compressors, motors, fans, thermostats, and circuit boards. ​
Customer Service:
Explain technical issues and repair options to clients clearly and professionally; provide estimates and recommendations for system upgrades. ​
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of service calls, parts used, and system performance history.
Certifications:
​EPA Section 608 Certification (required for handling refrigerants).
Professionalism:
Clean driving record and valid driver's license; excellent communication skills for client interaction.
Work Environment:
​Technicians often travel to various job sites throughout the day using a company vehicle. ​Work schedules may include emergency after-hours calls, weekends, or on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 coverage for critical climate control needs.
Pay:
$160.00 - $192.00 per day
