Overview Join our dynamic team as a Residential HVAC Installer and become a vital part of creating comfortable, energy-efficient homes for our valued customers. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential settings. Your expertise will ensure that every system operates at peak performance, delivering reliable comfort and peace of mind to homeowners. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical skills and technical knowledge in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Duties Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and refrigeration equipment according to schematics and HVAC design plans Perform system troubleshooting and repairs using hand tools, electrical diagnostics, ohmmeters, and specialized equipment to diagnose issues accurately Conduct system maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of HVAC equipment Read and interpret schematics, mechanical drawings, electrical wiring diagrams, and building automation systems for proper installation and repair procedures Collaborate with customers to explain system features, answer questions, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the installation process Repair or replace faulty components such as compressors, thermostats, electrical systems, plumbing connections, and mechanical parts Ensure all installations comply with local building codes, EPA regulations (including refrigerant handling), and safety standards Experience Proven construction experience with a strong understanding of mechanical systems repair and installation processes Service technician experience working with HVAC/R systems or related fields such as plumbing or electrical diagnostics Familiarity with HVAC design principles, schematics, building automation systems, and electrical systems troubleshooting Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair, maintenance, refrigeration techniques, boiler servicing, and appliance repair is highly desirable Ability to operate hand tools efficiently and perform equipment troubleshooting confidently Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a company vehicle safely Knowledge of EPA regulations related to refrigerant handling is required; certifications preferred but not mandatory for all applicants Join us in delivering top-tier comfort solutions while advancing your career in a supportive environment that values your skills.
