HVAC Installation Technician

Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC Installation Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure our clients experience optimal comfort and system efficiency. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about building and maintaining high-quality HVAC systems. Responsibilities Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems according to schematics and design specifications Perform system diagnostics using electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues and mechanical systems Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity Repair and replace faulty components in HVAC systems, including compressors, fans, thermostats, electrical wiring, and plumbing connections Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to facilitate accurate installations Collaborate with property maintenance teams and field service crews to coordinate system upgrades or repairs Ensure compliance with EPA regulations related to refrigerants and other hazardous materials during installation and servicing Experience Proven construction experience with hands-on work installing HVAC systems or mechanical systems in commercial or residential settings Service technician experience with troubleshooting HVAC/R equipment and performing repairs in a timely manner Strong mechanical knowledge including familiarity with plumbing, electrical systems, building automation systems, and refrigeration technology Experience working with hand tools, electrical diagnostics equipment (such as ohmmeters), and equipment troubleshooting devices Knowledge of HVAC system design principles, schematics interpretation, and mechanical systems repair techniques Prior experience in property maintenance or field service roles is highly desirable Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling is required; additional certifications in HVAC/R or ammonia refrigeration are a plus Join our team to build a rewarding career where your technical expertise makes a real difference! Pay:
$18.00 - $45.00 per hour
