Job Summary Join our team as an HVAC Service Apprentice and kick-start your career in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning industry! This entry-level role offers a hands-on experience in maintaining, repairing, and installing HVAC systems across various commercial and residential properties. Under the guidance of experienced technicians, you will develop essential skills in mechanical systems, electrical diagnostics, refrigeration, and building automation. This paid apprenticeship provides a fantastic opportunity to learn industry best practices while contributing to comfortable, safe indoor environments for our clients. Responsibilities Assist senior technicians with HVAC system installation, repair, and maintenance across diverse property types Learn to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and HVAC design plans to support troubleshooting efforts Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems including boilers, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and plumbing components Use hand tools and electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters to diagnose issues with electrical systems and equipment Support the troubleshooting and repair of HVAC/R (refrigeration) equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met Participate in building automation system (BAS) operations to optimize system efficiency and control Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, repairs performed, and parts used for each job Skills Construction experience or familiarity with mechanical systems is highly advantageous Prior service technician experience or related field service work is preferred but not required; training will be provided Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and equipment repair techniques necessary for mechanical systems repair Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients during service visits This position offers a vibrant environment where you can develop your technical skills while making a tangible impact on building comfort and safety. Pay:
$15.00 - $45.00 per hour
