Job Description
Air Conditioning Specialists, Inc. is seeking HVAC Technicians with 2-5 years of experience to join our team as an HVAC Technician. In this role, you will play an important part in maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and servicing commercial and residential air conditioning and HVAC systems throughout Hawaii. You will work with a wide range of equipment and systems while ensuring reliable performance, energy efficiency, and indoor comfort in Hawaii's unique climate. Your mechanical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and commitment to quality service will help us provide exceptional results for our clients while offering opportunities to grow your career in a fast-paced and rewarding industry. Duties Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and ventilation equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Install new HVAC equipment Perform routine maintenance tasks, including filter replacements, system inspections, cleaning, and calibration, to maximize efficiency and lifespan. Maintain detailed service records, inspection reports, and logs to track system performance and repairs. Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems to ensure safety standards are met at all times. Requirements Proven experience as an HVAC service technician with a strong understanding of HVAC design principles and mechanical knowledge. Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and field service equipment. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a driver vehicle safely. Knowledge of property maintenance standards related to air conditioning systems and overall building comfort solutions. Strong field service experience with the ability to troubleshoot efficiently under pressure while maintaining safety protocols.
