Job Title:
HVAC Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician who will be responsible for pulling wire, running conduit, and wiring outlets. You will also be expected to read and work off blueprints, install wire harnesses, switches, and light fixtures on walls that will form the base of hospital rooms. This role involves working with non-live wires and ensuring all installations are completed accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities Pull wire and run conduit for electrical systems. Wire outlets and install wire harnesses. Read and interpret blueprints for accurate installations. Install switches and light fixtures on hospital room walls. Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and are completed on time. Essential Skills Experience with pulling wire and running conduit. Proficiency in reading and working off blueprints. At least 3 years of commercial experience in related fields. Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of electrical panels and schematics. Experience in troubleshooting and service installation. Work Environment Work in an industrial, non-climate controlled facility located in Bessemer, characterized by an assembly line setup. This environment houses 130 employees, with plans to expand to 200 employees by next year. The facility supports the construction of prefabricated bathroom modules for the medical industry, offering a unique opportunity to be involved in cutting-edge construction processes. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bessemer, AL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
