Job Overview Fire & Ice Heating/ Cooling is seeking a highly motivated and experienced New Construction Lead Installer to spearhead the installation of HVAC equipment in new residential building projects in Northeast Indiana. We are looking for someone who can confidently lead new construction HVAC installations from start to finish while maintaining high-quality workmanship, efficiency, and professionalism. The ideal candidate has strong new construction HVAC installation experience and is comfortable taking ownership of a job site and helping guide other installers. What You'll Do Lead and coordinate installation teams on new construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications Read and interpret HVAC plans, blueprints, and installation specifications Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and related HVAC equipment Complete ductwork and equipment installations accurately and efficiently Ensure installations meet company standards, manufacturer specifications, and applicable building codes Lead, train, and assist other installation team members Communicate job progress and any concerns with management Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Complete installations within established schedules and quality expectations What We're Looking For Residential new construction experience required Journeyman HVAC license preferred, but not required Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems and new construction installation processes Ability to read blueprints, plans, and HVAC layouts Good communication and organizational skills Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Ability to safely lift equipment and materials and perform physical job duties Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Ability to maintain a professional relationship with builders, contractors, and coworkers What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Full-time, year-round employment Consistent new construction work A locally owned and operated company Supportive team environment Opportunities for additional training and professional development Company vehicle and fuel card Medical, dental and vision insurance 401(k) Life insurance Paid Holidays Paid time off (PTO) Employee appreciation events and company-sponsored activities Join our team as a New Construction Lead Installer where your expertise will drive successful project completions while advancing your career in a fast-paced environment.
