Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the comfort and safety of commercial and residential environments. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of HVAC systems, mechanical systems, electrical diagnostics, and building automation systems. As an HVAC Technician, you'll troubleshoot complex equipment issues, perform installations, and deliver exceptional customer service to ensure optimal system performance. Your mechanical expertise and proactive approach will contribute to our reputation for reliable service and innovative solutions. Duties Install, repair, and maintain a wide range of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and mechanical systems. Diagnose electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and conduct electrical diagnostics to identify system faults. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to execute precise repairs or installations. Troubleshoot equipment problems efficiently by applying mechanical knowledge and utilizing hand tools, welding equipment, and specialized diagnostic devices. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems to ensure optimal operation and energy efficiency. Service building automation systems (BAS), electrical systems, plumbing components, and property maintenance tasks as needed. Conduct field service visits for emergency repairs or scheduled maintenance while providing excellent customer service with clear communication and professionalism. Requirements Proven experience in construction or property maintenance with a focus on HVAC system repair and installation. Service technician experience with hands-on work in HVAC systems is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with schematics, HVAC design principles, electrical diagnostics, plumbing, welding, and equipment troubleshooting. Ability to operate hand tools effectively; experience with electrical systems and building automation systems is preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; familiarity with driver requirements is advantageous.
