Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Associate / Cashier. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently handling transactions at the cash register. Duties:

• Greet customers with a warm and friendly attitude
• Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently using the cash register
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate pricing and change
• Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions
• Promote and upsell products or services when appropriate
• Answer phone calls and address customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
• Excellent phone etiquette and active listening skills
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
