$30.00-$45.00/hour (based on experience)

HOURS:

8-hour shifts, 5 days per week (40 hours/week)

Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm

ASAP Job Description:

We are seeking skilled and dependable Commercial HVAC Service Technicians to join our team servicing commercial facilities throughout Central and Southern Maine. This temp-to-hire position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and operating commercial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills, commercial HVAC experience, and a commitment to safety and customer service.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems

Perform preventative maintenance and service calls on commercial equipment

Maintain and troubleshoot gas-fired and refrigeration systems

Ensure compliance with EPA Section 608 Clean Air Act regulations

Follow all OSHA, federal, state, and local safety regulations

Maintain all required trade licenses and certifications

Follow all New England Mechanical Services safety policies and procedures

Wear required PPE and maintain a safe work environment

Interact professionally with customers while maintaining a clean and professional appearance

Complete service documentation accurately and efficiently

Work overtime and weekends as needed based on business demands

Requirements:

State of Maine Gas License (Required)

EPA 608 Universal Certification (Required)

Commercial HVAC service experience

Clean driving record

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to maintain all required licenses and certifications

Physical Requirements:

Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs.

Ability to occasionally lift and move 51-100 lbs.

Ability to seldom lift over 100 lbs. with assistance

Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, twisting, crouching, and climbing

Ability to climb ladders and stairways

Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including hot, cold, and dusty environments

Ability to use hands, reach overhead, balance, and work in confined spaces

Must have close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision with the ability to adjust focus

Additional Requirements:

Must be eligible to work in the United States

Must pass drug and background screening
