The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC systems, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to manage a team effectively. This role involves overseeing installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems while ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of HVAC technicians and service personnel. Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating units. Review schematics and blueprints to ensure proper installation and operation of HVAC systems. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Provide training and support to team members on HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, and equipment repair techniques. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management. Collaborate with other departments on property maintenance projects that require mechanical expertise. Troubleshoot complex HVAC issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other testing equipment. Ensure compliance with local codes and regulations related to ammonia refrigeration and boiler operations. Experience Proven experience in construction or field service related to HVAC/R systems. Strong background as a service technician with hands-on experience in appliance repair, mechanical maintenance, and welding. Familiarity with refrigeration cycles, air conditioning systems, plumbing installations, and boiler operations. Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while promoting a safe working environment. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
