Lake James Heating & Air - Morganton, NC Lake James Heating & Air is looking for a motivated, energetic, and dependable person who wants to learn the HVAC trade and build a career. No HVAC experience is required. We're looking for someone with a good attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. You'll work alongside an experienced HVAC installer and learn the trade hands-on. Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Motivated and ready to work Energetic and dependable Willing to learn Looking to build a long-term career in HVAC Just starting their career or looking for an opportunity to learn a skilled trade Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoors Able to lift equipment and materials Able to work with basic hand tools or willing to learn No HVAC experience is required. We're more interested in your work ethic, attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn than your previous experience. What You'll Do Assist with residential HVAC installations Help install HVAC equipment and ductwork Assist with refrigerant lines and condensate drains Assist with electrical work Load and unload equipment and materials Keep jobsites clean and organized Learn proper HVAC installation techniques Take on more responsibility as you learn Pay $16-$18 per hour, depending on reliability, attitude, and ability to learn. As you learn the trade and become more productive, there will be opportunities for pay increases and advancement.
