Commercial HVAC Service Technician Eastern Mechanical Contractors, LLC - Manchester, NH Eastern Mechanical Contractors is looking for an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our growing Service Department. We are looking for a professional, motivated technician with a minimum of 5 years of commercial HVAC service experience who can independently troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of commercial HVAC equipment. This is not an entry-level position . We are looking for someone who can represent EMC professionally in front of our customers, communicate clearly, solve problems, and take ownership of their work. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems. Perform preventative maintenance and service on: Commercial rooftop units (RTUs) Chillers VRF/VRV systems Commercial boilers and hydronic systems Pumps and associated mechanical equipment Air handlers and ventilation equipment Refrigeration and controls-related components Diagnose electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, airflow, and control problems. Communicate findings and recommended repairs clearly to customers and EMC management. Complete service reports and documentation accurately and professionally. Identify additional repairs and maintenance needs while on site. Maintain an organized and properly stocked company service van. Participate in the company's on-call rotation . Be willing to assist our installation/construction crews when service work is slow. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work area. Follow all EMC safety procedures and customer/jobsite requirements. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC service experience required. Excellent HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Strong experience with commercial RTUs, chillers, VRF systems, boilers, and hydronic systems. EPA certification required. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening . Must own the standard hand tools necessary for the trade. Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, equipment manuals, and mechanical drawings. Strong electrical and controls troubleshooting ability. Able to work independently and make sound field decisions. Willing and able to participate in an on-call rotation. Willing to assist with commercial HVAC installation work when needed.
