HVAC Technician

Job Description

Be the person customers count on when it matters most. At Hodge Industrial Technologies, culture is the key to our success. We believe great work starts with people who take ownership, find a way forward, care about others, and never stop learning. We work hard, hold each other accountable, and believe you can take your work seriously without taking yourself too seriously. If that sounds like the kind of team you want to be part of, keep reading. Why This Work Matters When a customer's compressed air system goes down, production can stop. Their people are waiting, schedules are at risk, and every minute matters. That's why our Field Service Technicians do more than repair equipment. You help keep industry running. You'll be the person customers rely on to diagnose the problem, find the solution, and get their equipment back in service. The work is hands-on, challenging, and different every day. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair industrial compressed air equipment Troubleshoot 240V/480V three-phase electrical systems Repair motors, controls, VFDs, PLCs, and related equipment Perform preventive maintenance and inspections Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Identify root causes and recommend solutions Communicate findings clearly with customers Complete accurate service reports and documentation Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who doesn't wait to be told what to do. You take ownership of problems. You're resourceful when the answer isn't obvious. You care about doing the job right—not just getting the job done. And when you don't know something, you're willing to learn. You may be a great fit if you have: 2+ years of industrial electrical maintenance or field service experience Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical equipment Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills Experience with motors, controls, VFDs, PLCs, or similar equipment A valid driver's license The ability to work independently in customer facilities Strong communication and customer-service skills Our Culture At Hodge, we live by a simple set of expectations: Take ownership. Find a way. Keep a positive attitude. Do what you say you'll do. Care about people. Learn every day. Innovate fearlessly. And yes— laugh and have fun. We're building a team where people trust each other, challenge each other to grow, and genuinely want to see each other succeed. Ready to Build a Career, Not Just Find a Job? If you're the kind of technician who enjoys solving tough problems, takes pride in your work, and wants to be part of a team that truly cares about its customers and its people— we'd like to meet you.
