The ideal candidate will have experience installing residential heating and air conditioning systems while delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. This position is responsible for replacing and installing HVAC equipment in residential homes, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with local codes and manufacturer specifications. Key Responsibilities Install residential HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers, mini-splits, and indoor air quality products. Remove and replace existing HVAC equipment and related components. Install and modify ductwork, refrigerant lines, electrical connections, drain lines, and ventilation systems. Perform system start-ups, testing, and commissioning to ensure proper operation. Verify airflow, refrigerant charge, and overall system performance. Educate homeowners on the operation and maintenance of newly installed equipment. Maintain a clean and organized job site while protecting customers' homes. Complete installation paperwork, job documentation, and required photos accurately. Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, and management throughout the installation process. Follow all company safety procedures, OSHA standards, and local building codes. Represent the company professionally and provide outstanding customer service. Qualifications 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience preferred. EPA Section 608 Certification required. Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems and installation best practices. Ability to read installation instructions, wiring diagrams, and blueprints. Experience with heat pumps, gas furnaces, split systems, package units, and mini-split systems. Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and varying weather conditions. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
